Susan’s In-Home Maternity Photo Session

Maternity photo sessions are so much fun. It is so beautiful to document this season of life and the mom’s ever-changing body that is growing that sweet baby. Documenting pregnancy is such an amazing opportunity, and maternity sessions are a great way to do it. Whether this is your first baby, or you have a little and this is your second maternity session, it will be beautiful!

Mom and Baby Maternity Photo Session

Maternity sessions can be so much fun just interacting with your baby and being genuine and real. The in-the-moment photos where we capture you, your body, and your baby are amazing. In Susan’s maternity session, her little girl who is about 18 months old, was so great interacting and understanding the concept that mommy’s belly is growing a baby. They wore matching outfits and did special photos outside together with the trees and mountains behind. 

In-Home Maternity Photos

For personal, intimate photos, Susan chose an indoor setting. In her bedroom she was able to relax, get into something comfortable, and really get great photos of her belly and her body changing. We were able to include photos with her little girl rubbing lotion on her belly, and with her and her husband reading a book to their daughter about being a big sister and about families. 

We also did more personal, really special photos with Susan in her loungewear. She wore a cute little shirt with her belly out really accentuating that belly in the room. While she may never show anybody these photos, they were very special to her. Having an in-home maternity photo shoot allows for this sort of opportunity.

It’s a Boy!

They are expecting a little boy and Susan’s mother-in-law had given her some of her husband’s clothes that he wore as a little boy. We took photos of those clothes in preparation for their little baby boy. This maternity session was so personal and intimate for Susan and her family. It was so much fun too!
