Senior Pictures at Taggert Lake

I recently had a senior picture session with Aubrey at beautiful Taggert Lake in Grand Teton National Park. Aubrey and the scenery were amazing! How gorgeous is she?? I mean, can you even? These pictures turned out amazing because of a combination of beauty, colors, and location. There are many different options for location and attire regarding senior pictures in Wyoming. Let’s discuss what your best color and location options are for yours.

What Colors to Wear for Senior Pictures

With all the different trends out there, it is hard to decide what to wear. Here in Wyoming, pictures in the mountains can be remarkable if you are wearing the right outfits. In spring, summer, and fall, the lighter colors are best. The lighter colors bring out the natural tones in the skin and add beautiful light to the pictures.

Light pinks, whites, tans, light greys, and pastels go beautifully up against the lush green grass and blue skies in the mountains. If I am your photographer and you are looking for light, bright, airy, timeless, elegant photos, these colors work best. Do your best to stay away from dark, heavy colors for these types of pictures.

Which Outfits are Best for Senior Pictures?

When you are choosing your outfits, you should have a few different choices.  You can choose a bright dress using the color options above, a nice jeans or khakis outfit with a nice blouse, or a skirt with a blouse you love. As you can see, Aubrey chose a beautiful, flowing pink dress and fun jeans and a white blouse for her outfits and the colors are amazing with the Taggart Lake location.

Taggart Lake Photography Location Options

There are a lot of locations in our area to shoot fantastic senior pictures. Here are some of my favorite locations. Taggart Lake in Grand Teton National Park offers a few different amazing photography locations to choose from. Being situated on the bridge offers an opportunity for an awesome backdrop and there is also a stunning waterfall. Around the corner there is a grand view of the Teton Mountain Range with a beautiful buck and rail fence and a 100-year-old cottonwood tree. All these options framed these beautiful, elegant pictures that you see here. If you are ready to talk about your senior pictures, connect with me HERE.
