Top 5 locations to see in Jackson hole Wyoming
I get asked a lot, What my favorite locations are for photoshoots in Jackson hole and Grand Teton National park. So I thought I’d make a list of my top 5 places to photograph at when getting photos taken by a Jackson hole photographer.
My first favorite place for photos in summer in in Grand Teton National Park, There are countless options, Some of my favorites are Jenny Lake, Cascade Turnout/Cascade canyon and Taggert lake. This is clearly not all there truly isn’t a spot that isn’t amazing within the park. A few things to note when doing a session in GTNP. First there is a $35 fee to enter the park, but that pass is good for up to 7 days, So you can go explore, hike, bike, swim, kayak, or just site see! Also GTNP now requires permits for photo sessions in the park and if you are a larger group they do ask you let them now within 10 days of your session the amount of cars, and people! This is to keep everyone safe!
Jenny Lake Down on the beaches, are stunning, on the trails and pathways are also gorgeous! I personally do not have any photos of a session done at Jenny lake but her is a link you can look at photos taken in and around Jenny Lake
Cascade Turnout!! This location is one of my absolute Favorites!! you get gorgeous views of the canyon, views of both the Grand Teewinot, and Mount Owen! I personally love this location because it is not as busy and you can get multiple shots taken in this location!
Taggert Lake, I love taggert lake because of all the aspen tree, and the lighting you get that comes through those trees makes for a gorgeous session!! The Tetons are right there you get that full mountain range in your photos, There is a little ranch right there so during the summer you’'ll see horses and Foxes, The Buck and rail fence with the horses and wildlife and the mountains in the back just pull it all together for the most dreamiest session ever!!
Swabacher landing is everyone’s dream! Your photographers and yours! I love this location for families especially because there is a bever damn and lots of ducks so its a great place for kiddos to explore and keep there interest, and the views of this locations will blow your mind!!
Last but definitly not least!!! Moulton Barns Or some call it Mormon row! This spot is gorgeous for any occasion! Family photos, Elopements, Weddings, you name it!! Its a favorite!! There is always a possibility of seeing pronghorns, Buffalo, Elk, its just a gorgeous spot and one of my most requested!!
